120 kg Barbell Clean and Press

I have been working almost exclusively with heavy kettlebells recently, you may have seen my exploits with stacked kettlebell pressing

I have always found a great carry over from kettlebells to barbell training.

I haven't touched barbell work for a while (despite wanting to), as I am very busy at work I've been doing what I can. When more time becomes available I'll be hitting the barbells and aiming for a strongman competition at the end of August.

Last nights session consisted of kettlebell snatches, barbell clean and press finished of with grip work using inch dumbbells, blobs and Orbigrip

Here's my video of my top single on the barbell clean and press

Cheers mate! I've decided tonight (after 2 big bottles of Stella), that I'm gonna clean the 78kg Inch Dumbbell one day and press it overhead. Bearing in mind I haven't deadlifted the fucker yet, but getting a couple of inches of air so far. Strength needs to be nurtured and takes years to develop properly to an extent where you can actually be strong for more than a few weeks at a time!
